　　牛津初中英语7A第八单元阅读课第一课时。

　　【授课年级】

　　七年级。

　　【教学背景】

　　本单元的阅读材料是学生举行的一场服装秀，在文中涉及了模特的穿着打扮、衣服材质以及颜色搭配等。学生们经常在电视上看到时装秀，夸张的打扮、艳丽的着装总是能吸引人们的眼球。因此，对于本单元的阅读材料，学生是很感兴趣的。教师又通过动物走秀的视频，进一步激发了学生的学习欲望。因此，本节课教师把阅读教学分为读前、读中和读后三个教学环节。在各个教学环节设置不同的任务，促使学生了解掌握阅读材料。

　　【教学目标】

　　1.To help students develop vocabulary about describing clothes and materials.

　　2.Students can read and understand the script and finish the exercises on their books.

　　3.Students can describe about matching clothes.

　　【教学难点】

　　能运用所学有关服装的词汇和表达去描述一场时装秀。

　　【教学过程及设计意图】

　　一、pre-reading（读前）

　　Step1：Lead in

　　在课间就播放一个关于时装秀的短视频，动感的音乐、夸张的画面让学生立刻产生了好奇心和想知道接下来会发生什么的欲望。

　　Ask: Do you often watch fashion shows on TV? My friend Suzy enjoys watching fashion shows. She is a fashionable lady.

　　Step2：Know the new words

　　Introduce something about Suzy. Help students learn the new words in this script.

　　读前预教词汇：为学生的阅读扫除障碍，在具体的语境中理解核心词汇，比传统的脱离语境单独教授新词要合理科学很多。

　　二、while-reading（读中）

　　Step1：Skimming

　　Task 1：Read the passage and try to find out:

　　(1)Who is the host of the show?

　　(2)How many models show us different styles of the clothes?

　　Step2：Scanning

　　Task 2：Read the passage carefully and try to complete the following table.

　　Task 3: Group work.It’s your turn to be the host. (Try to retell the passage according to the pictures of the five models.)

　　三、Post-reading（读后）

　　Task 4: What are the famous stars wearing?

　　通过观察一些明星的衣着，学生小组间合作讨论如何去描述这些明星的着装，明星图片选择的是“爸爸去哪儿”里的可爱图片。学生兴趣盎然，小组活动开展得很热烈。

　　Task5: Discussion

　　As a middle school student, What kind of clothes should you wear?

　　课的结尾的谈论，体现了英语课程的人文性。英语课程标准指出义务教育阶段的英语课程具有工具性和人文性双重性质，而老师教学中常常强调的是英语课程的工具性，而忽略了它的人文性，忽略了利用英语课程帮助孩子形成良好的品格和正确的人生观。只有英语课程的工具性和人文性相统一，才有利于为学生的终身发展奠定基础。
